Edge UOL Announces Partnership with Oracle to Offer Services in Cloud Ecosystem

Edge UOL has just announced that it has established a partnership with Oracle, one of the largest technology companies in the world. The partnership involves the company designing, migrating, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, while also being a channel for selling licenses for products in the Oracle portfolio.

Edge UOL has more than 15 years’ experience in Oracle database administration and is responsible for managing the databases of major clients. This partnership will allow Edge UOL to expand its services beyond the on-premise world.

The ecosystem of services contained in the Oracle cloud offers ease of migration, scalability, and availability of services and does not require the acquisition of hardware, which would imply costs for installation, maintenance, and acquisition of space in data centers. Furthermore, Artificial Intelligence will help to make the best use of data.

“Oracle is a strong player in the cloud market and has a long-standing partnership with Edge UOL, mainly based on licensing and database management services. The expansion achieved through this partnership gives this relationship a greater dimension, adding and delivering even more value to customers,” says Rodrigo Lobo, COO of Edge UOL.

According to Alexandre Maioral, Oracle’s CEO in Brazil, the partnership with Edge UOL will bring numerous benefits: “We are the fastest growing cloud in the world, helping companies like Edge UOL to scale demands with great cost-benefit, bringing cutting-edge technology and modernity to customers. Our AI was developed to help customers get the most out of their data, increasingly using these resources for strategic decision-making.”
