Xcitium, formerly known as Comodo Security Solutions and a leading provider of endpoint protection, announces a partnership with Edge UOL—a company specializing in IT infrastructure services—to expand its presence in Latin America and improve the support provided to clients in the region. Edge UOL will now deliver Xcitum’s ZeroDwell Containment technology to its clients, effectively protecting against attacks from ransomware and other malware – a type of illegal data acquisition.
Xcitium is the first on the market with its patented kernel API virtualization that isolates and removes threats before they can cause damage to endpoints. ZeroDwell Containment proactively protects machines while laying the groundwork for MDR (Managed Detection and Response)/XDR (Extended Detection and Response) as a critical next step in detecting, monitoring, and actively safeguarding businesses.
